Chushul students meet Rijiju, ITBP sponsored tour to inspire a sense of pride in them for country



Leh(Ladakh)/New Delhi, July 13, (Scoop News)-Before leaving for Bhubaneswar (Odisha), visiting 22 school children from remote Chushul area in Ladakh region called on the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju here today.
The students in their teens are on Bharat Darshan Tour from July 10 to July 22. In Delhi, the students visited Red Fort, Akshar Dham Temple and Parliament House
While conversing with the students, in the age group of 13-17 years, Rijiju said that he is overjoyed to meet the children from Leh and this tour will help them to understand the multiplicity, strength and magnificence of India. He said the study tour will improve their general understanding and familiarity about historical places, social values, culture and traditions
In a bid to expose the students, the ITBP is organizing the tour to historical, social and cultural milieu of the country and also educate them about the progress made in different sectors including scientific, technological and industrial fields and also inspire in them a sense of pride for the country.
The students from Government High School, Chushul also presented some Ladakhi culture programme while on tour to showcase the Ladakh’s unique culture and tradition to let them know more about the region. ...
