| Lecture on road safety at mughal maidan organised | |
Jammu, July 18, (Scoop News)- Army organised a lecture on Road Safety to create awareness and explain its importance to locals & students. The awareness drive was undertaken to address issue of increase in the number of road accidents resulting in fatalities and injuries due to lack of sufficient knowledge of traffic rules amongst locals, especially the youth. There has been a substantial increase in the vehicular traffic in the recent years in the area.
The lecture was attended by approx 35 people which included students from nearby schools and local youth. They were educated about the importance of following safety rules like using seat belts and helmets while driving.
