BJP conducts State Office Bearers, discusses strategy for Panchayat, Urban local body elections

Jammu, July 22, (Scoop News)- 1st meeting of new state office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir was conducted along with meetings of Panchayat election Incharges and Urban Local Body election Incharges in series of meetings held at its state headquarter, Trikuta Nagar on Sunday.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Sunil Sharma (MLA) attended and addressed the meetings.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, welcomed the new State Office Bearers of BJP in the meeting. He said that the party has full faith on the efficiency of these leaders. He said that the party is of the view that the hard work by this new team at the ground level will take the party to new heights and the party will scale victory in every single election. He also claimed that all the leaders of BJP have DNA of social service and patriotism embedded in their genome who work with brotherhood.
Raina said that BJP leaders have always pressed for the Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies elections in the state. BJP tried for local body elections at every forum to facilitate the decentralization of power. He said that after these elections maximum issues of public will be solved at local level thus effectively reducing their sufferings. Also lack of these elections lead to loss of exchequer which was meant for the development of the region, he said.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, in his address prompted all the party leaders to work harder for the approaching elections. He said that while going into the election, we have to ensure the good coordination between all the party functionaries as well as the general masses. He asked the leaders to approach the common public directly without any intermediate barrier. He also said that we have to perform extremely well as the whole of the Nation maintain eye on the happenings in J&K.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address said that the Incharges of the Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies have a great responsibility to secure every single vote for the party. He prompted the leaders to work with positive attitude and high level of faith on ground activists to secure good results. He emphasized that we all have been allotted various responsibilities which we have to carry with utmost accountability.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, in his address prompted all the Panchayat Incharges to share their concerns about the approaching elections. He said that the Parliament elections are held in the first tier, Assembly elections in second tier and Panchayat elections are held in third tier. He emphasized that the Panchayat elections are held at local level, so the personal integration of candidate must be taken into consideration.
Ashok Kaul in his address discussed the detailed strategy of Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies elections threadbare. He said that the BJP National President Amit Shah has called for win in every election right from Panchayat to Parliament. He told the party leaders to go for elections while keeping in consideration the issues raised by every single party activist working at the ground level.
Dr. Narinder conducted the proceedings during the meetings.
