| BJP fights for women empowerment: Raina | |
Jammu, July 23, (Scoop News)-BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA) claimed that only BJP has fought for true women empowerment, while he was attending a programme organized by BJP Mahila Morcha to felicitate its newly nominated President, Rajni Sethi at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Programme was also graced with the presence of BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Morcha State President & present BJP state Vice-President Purnima Sharma, BJP State Secretary Veenu Khanna, former Minister Priya Sethi and Usha Choudhary, which was attended by all Morcha State Office Bearers, Morcha District Presidents and other Morcha leaders.
Ravinder Raina, in his inspirational speech, stressed on the greater role of women in the society. He said that BJP is the only political party that has represented the women very fairly in every field and stands for true empowerment of women. He said that this is very clear from the decisive steps taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre. He wished the new Morcha State President very good luck for taking the Morcha to new heights and assured that the all the leaders and activists stand with the Morcha in its every single activity. He also called for the dedicated role of Mahila Morcha in approaching elections to ensure party’s win.
Ashok Kaul, in his address, threw light on the dedicated role of women in the society. He said that BJP is an organization where women have equal rights and respect. He laid stress in the fact that in all the programmes of BJP, women play a major role and have sizable quantity unlike other political organizations. He also said that he has full faith on the new leadership and believes that the new Morcha President will dedicatedly discharge her duties like her predecessor. He also prompted new President to strengthen the organizational structure of Morcha.
Purnima Sharma, in his address shared her experiences with the new President and assured her all help in carrying out the functions of Mahila Morcha. She also assured hope that Rajni Sethi will take Morcha to newer heights with her concentrated effort.
Priya Sethi threw light on the stress given by Modi government to uplift the status of women irrespective of background by the launch of numerous women centric schemes. She also enumerated various public welfare schemes for the women.
Rajni Sethi, while humbly accepting the responsibility as new State President of Mahila Morcha vowed to work for the rights of women, while working for the strengthening of organization. She said that she will work with full enthusiasm and dedication to raise the women centric issues. She also said that with the help and blessings of all senior leaders, as the State President of Mahila Morcha she will make sure that maximum participation of women is ensured in the BJP Mahila Morcha to ensure party’s win in every election.
