| OGWs of terror outfit HM arrested, Huge amount of cash Recovered | |
Srinagar, October 09 (Scoop News)-On 08-10-2018, Police Awantipora received a reliable information that the active terrorist of banned terror outfit HM namely Adil Ahmad Bhat R/O Malangpora Pulwama has handed over a huge amount to one OGW namely Rouf-ul-Islam Wani S/O Ab. Aziz Wani R/O Batpora Ladhoo Khrew for distribution of same among other terrorists and OGWs for carrying out terror activities in the area. On receipt of this information, a case FIR No. 75/2018 U/S 17,18,20,21,38,39 and 40 ULA(P) Act was registered at P/S Khrew and investigation initiated.
During the course of investigation, Rouf-ul-Islam Wani S/O Ab. Aziz Wani R/O Batpora Ladhoo Khrew was apprehended and during questioning disclosed that he had received huge cash from active terrorist Adil Ahmad Bhat R/O Malangpora Pulwama for distribution of the same among the other terrorists and OGWs of HM outfit for raising the necessary support structure for the said banned terror organization and also for luring youth towards joining terror ranks. The said accused disclosed that the cash amount was handed over to Mohd Maqbool Wani S/O Gh. Qadir Wani R/O Batapora Ladhoo, Shakeel Ahmad Wani S/O Ghulam Mohd Wani R/O Ladhoo and Musaib Aziz Gojree S/O Ab. Aziz R/O Namblabal Pampore, the OGWs of banned terror outfit HM. All the other 03 OGWs were also apprehended and subsequently cash amounts were recovered at four different places.
The investigation conducted so far reveals that the amount so recovered was intended to be used for the purpose of terrorism. Further investigation is in progress.
