| Capacity building tour to Delhi, Pushkar & Ajmer flagged in | | Srinagar, October 10 (Scoop News)-To provide an exposure to the village elders from the Valley, a ten day Capacity Building Tour (CBT) for 20 Moulvies from Rafiabad region to New Delhi, Pushkar and Ajmer, organised by the Army, was flagged in on 10 October 2018.
During the Tour, the participants visited various places of historical and cultural significance like Hazarat Nizamuddin Dargah, Jama Masid, Nehru Planetarium, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Zoological Park in Delhi and Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Roopangarh Fort, Pushkar Lake, Taragarh Fort, Anasagar Lake and Durga Bagh in Ajmer. The tour also experienced a ride on the modern Delhi Metro and enjoyed a laser show at Pushkar. The CBT also interacted with Lt Gen Asit Mistry, GOC, Delhi area who encouraged them to be messengers of peace and goodwill.
The endeavour of this Tour was to provide an educative experience and exposure to the participants to plurality of culture and development which was highly appreciated.
