Army hands over two unused buildings to Construction Division Leh


Leh,October 10 (Scoop News)-Two unused buildings opposite to the PHC Chushot which was under the position of Army were handed over to Construction Division Leh in presence of Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh Dorjey Motup today at PHC Chushot. After proper repair and renovation the same building will be again handed over to PHC Chushot for their use.

Other present on the occasion were Executive Councilor for Health Gyal P Wangyal, Executive Councilor for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Mumtaz Hussain, SE PWD, Executive Engineers, Engineers, BMO Chushot, Army Officers and Numberders and representatives of Chushot Gongma, Shamma and Yokma.

CEC Dorjey Motup while inspecting the unused buildings directed Exn. Construction Division to complete all required repair and renovation works of buildings at the earliest and handed over the same to PHC Chushot for their use. CEC Dorjey Motup also assured to add additional infrastructure facilities at the PHC Chushot for which required funds will be proposed in the next district plan and for blacktopping of the premises and internal roads of PHC Chushot, CEC directed Ex. Construction to submit a detail estimate.
Giving patient hearing to the demands of Chushot Gonagma, Shamma and Yokma, CEC directed Exn. PHE to complete all the water supply schemes in Chushot belt at the earliest. While inspecting area near Matho road diversion damaged by water lickage from Igoo –Phey Canal, CEC directed SE PWD and Exn. I&FC and concerned engineers to find an amicable solution in close coordination with villages. En route CEC also inspected the progress of approach culvert of Shashi Bridge and directed engineers to make the Shashi bridge fully functional so that commuter could not face any problem when main bridge of Choglamser will be dismantled.

Later CEC along with EC Mumtz Hussain visited Fish form and Hatchery Plant at Chushot Shamma which is being constructed under the CSR and Environmental Management Programme of NHPC at a cost of Rs. 1.18 Crore and the hatchery plant is at the final stage of its completion. Dy. Director Fisheries Moha Amin told CEC that out of the Rs. 1.18 Crore Rs. 23.70 lacs is yet to be released through Commissioner Secretary Animal and Fisheries J&K Govt. CEC also visited Mini Aquarium Hall at Fish Form Shey. Dy. Director Fisheries Moha Amin demanded solar power backup for the Mini Aquarium hall.
