| Pensioners, SMVD Hospital organise 2nd Health talk on ortho issues | |
Jammu, December 06 (Scoop News)- Continuing with the Health Talk on different common ailments confronting senior citizens, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kakryal (SMVDNSH) will hold second Health Awareness Talk on Orthopedic problems at Scouts and Guides complex, near GPO, on Apsra road, Gandhinagar tomorrow at 11 a.m.
Arrangements have also been made for examination of the senior citizens who have orthopedic problems.
This initiative has been taken by the Central Govt Pensioners Welfare Association, Jammu in collaboration with SMVDNSH and State Pensioners Forum.
SMVDNSH Ortho specialist, Dr. Vikas Padha will deliver the Awareness talk and interact with the senior citizens on ortho problems besides examine and treat those who are suffering from such diseases.
The SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Kakryal has recently been empanelled for cashless treatment of CGHS beneficiaries which will benefit more than 2000 Central Govt pensioners in the State.
First such Health Awareness Lectures was delivered on hearing problems in old age and related ENT diseases by Dr. Rohan Gupta.
The Presidents of both Pensioners’ Associations have appealed to their members to avail this facility for prevention as well as treatment of such disorders. Other senior citizens are also welcome in this event.
