| Countdown for BJP has begun: Mir | |
Jammu, December 11 (Scoop News)- JKPCC President G.A. Mir said that today’s results of Assembly elections of 5 states indicate that the countdown of BJP has started because of the decimal performance of Modi led NDA Govt. at the Centre. It also indicates that the people have rejected the divisive and communal politics of BJP.
To celebrate the victory of the party, the Congress workers in large number including Youth Congress, NSUI, Mahila Congress assembled at PCC HQ Shahidi Chowk Jammu and raised slogans in favour of Congress party and its leadership amidst beating of drums, dancing and distributing sweets amongst them.
Speaking on the occasion PCC Chief said that Congress party under the leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi has emerged a strong force in the Country and there is positive change in the mindset and the mood of the people because of the policies and programmes of the Congress party. He said that Congress would emerge as the largest party in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Mir said that the foundation of the country has been laid on secular ideals and harmony amongst different sections keeping in view of the pluralistic character of the nation. But the political parties like BJP are spreading hatred and weakening the nation. But it is the matter of great joy that the people of the 5 states have defeat the designs of such forces. He added that BJP will never succeed to implement their communal and divisive agenda neither in the country nor in the state.
Earlier Mr. Mir addressed a meeting of party functionaries of various Cells of PCC like SC, ST, Kissan, Pahari, Legal, Trade & Commerce, EX-servicemen Social Media PRIs, Refugees at PCC HQ Shahidi Chowk Jammu. Various ways and means were discussed in order to strengthen the various departments and Cells of the Party.
Shri Raman Bhalla while addressing said that today’s victory of Congress party in Rajestan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh is the victory of each and every right thinking person of the Country and it is the defeat of communal and divisive forces who are spreading lies and weakening Country through their divisive politics. He congratulated the party leadership and workers of the party in all these states who worked day and night and finally succeeded in their goal.
The meeting was also addressed by Shri Rajnish Sharma- Co-Treasurer PCC, Th. Manmohan Singh & Ch. Sahnawaj (General Secretaries), Dist. Presidents Rajouri -Shabir Ahmed Khan, Samba - S. Manjit Singh, Jammu (Urban) Vikram Malhotra, besides Shri K.K. Pangotra(Advocate) Shah Mohd Choudhary (Advocate), Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat (ex-MLA), Suresh Dogra (Advocate), Krishan Lal Gupta, Suresh Bargotra, Kramat Malik, Col. Swarn Singh and others.
