Sunderbani, January 10 (Scoop News)-Bharat Public School (BPS)- Sunderbani celebrated the annual day function to commemorate it's establishment with fervour and gaiety here in Sunderbani on Wednesday.
The function started with lighting of lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana in presence of chief guest, JKPCC leader, Ravinder sharma ;
The celebrations continued with students of various classes presenting their cultural items gaining round of applause from the dignitaries and parents . Ravinder Sharma during his address congratulated the school principal Ravi Rajan Raina for his untiring efforts to set up an institution of excellence nourishing the children of today and turning them into better and responsible citizens of tomorrow . The students of today are the backbone of nation .
"The onus of a better country lies on the shoulders of students who have to serve the country at various levels in future ."; said Ravinder Sharma .
He advised the students to leave no stone unturned to bring name and fame to the parents ; schools and society. Sharma also presented awards to the meritorious students and stressed upon inculcating moral values amongst the young generation .
Moral values with academic knowledge make a student complete and responsible citizen, said Sharma said.
.Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Sharma ; president Municipal committee Sunderbani , ZEO Subash Sharma , principals of government higher secondary school Sunderbani , Yog Raj Sharma . The function culminated by a vote of thanks from the school principal .
