“No voter to be left behind”,DEO Leh presides over the Voters’ Awareness program at Nyoma Changthang

Leh,March 11 (Scoop News)- As a part of SVEEP campaign, students of GHS Nyoma presented a beautiful educative skit on voters’ awareness followed by an impressive demonstration on EVM & VVPAT at Govt Hr Sec School hostel Nyoma on 10th March 2019.
DC/DEO, Leh Avny Lavasa presided over the function and supervised the EVM demonstration. A large number of people including students, staff and local residents attended the function.
DEO applauded the students for their excellent performance. Terming India as the largest democratic state in the world, she said that India is known for its foolproof election process and we should feel proud of it. She appealed to each and everyone present on the occasion to be ambassadors of this voters awareness program and educate/sensitize their family, friends and near and dears to exercise their right to vote and become a part of this important democratic process.
Mohd. Taqi SDM Nyoma, Xen R&B Leh, Xen Mechanical Div Leh, Dr. Tsewang Namgail AD Sheep Husbandry Noyma, Principal Govt Hr Sec School Nyoma, Tehsildar Nyoma and other officers and staff of Sub-division Nyoma were also present on the occasion.
