Chinar Nau Jawan Club organizes special interaction and cultural programme

Srinagar, March 11 (Scoop News)- Chinar Nau Jawan Club, Baramulla is an institute that has been contributing in skill development, poverty eradication, youth empowerment and thereby fulfilling its social responsibility to the fullest. The Institute is completing three years of its inception and has been a success story in the region.
Today a special interaction and cultural programme was organised by the students and staff of Chinar Nau Jawan Club and Blind School to bid farewell to Major General Gulab Singh Rawat, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Dagger Division. The students of Chinar Nau Jawan Club, Baramulla and Blind School exhibited their cultural skills and gave enthralling performances including solo songs, group songs and traditional Kashmiri Rouf Dance. The event was attended by over 200 students, Vice Principal of Baramulla Degree College, Mr Tariq Ahmed Chalkoo, faculty members and senior Army Officers among others.
This opportunity was also utilised to inaugurate mobile repairing domain in Chinar Nau Jawan Club, Baramulla under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna. Proliferation of smart phones makes this field even more lucrative option for youth in future. With additional Mobile Repairing domain in folds, the club is now better equipped to provide an array of skill based training to the youth of Baramulla and adjoining areas.
Towards the end, GOC addressed the youth and motivated them to do well in life. He emphasised the importance to stay focused and positive in life. The GOC appreciated the students who participated in various cultural events.
The GOC presented some utility items to Blind School and gifts to children who participated in various cultural activities. Clubs like this will enhance their skill-sets and put them at par with fast developing world.
