| Army organises medical camp at village Dachoo | |
Srinagar ,April 15 (Scoop News)- In continuation with the Army’s constant efforts of building a healthy and better future for the Awaam of Kashmir, a medical camp was organised by the Army Camp Nagbal.
Medical check-ups including advice and administering of medicines was done by Army Medical officers and staff. Locals were also informed about the importance of good hygiene and sanitation and various measures to prevent outbreak of diseases due to unhygienic living. The effects of changing weather on a person’s health and precautions to be taken were also emphasized.
The medical camp saw very good participation by the locals, which included workers and students. A total of 103 villagers including 30 women, 60 men and 13 children availed the benefits of the camp. The locals appreciated the efforts of the Army in providing much needed medical care and advice right to their doorstep and requested for more such initiatives in the future
