Sadbhavana tour of students from Nybra valley flagged off

Srinagar, May -13 (Scoop News)- An educational and motivational tour comprising of 15 students & two teachers of Nubra Valley, Leh District was flagged off from Pratap Pur today by Deputy Commander, Siachen Warriors Brigade on behalf of Fire & Fury Corps.

The tour which is being undertaken as part of Sadbhavana, will see the students visit Chandigarh, New Delhi and Agra over a period of 10 days. Aim of such tours is to make the students aware of the rich heritage and cultural grandeur of our country as well as to provide them an insight into higher education institutes in the country and various avenues available for their future.

The students will visit important historical and cultural sites in Chandigarh, Delhi and Agra, including the National War Memorial in New Delhi which has been recently dedicated to the nation. They are also scheduled to interact with the Honorable President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind, the Chief of Army Staff, Gen Bipin Rawat and other dignitaries.
