New Delhi, May 14, (Scoop News Bureau)-At an impressive function attended by the scholars, academics and literary persons besides journalists of Delhi, the Vice President and chairman of the Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Parliament), Venkaih Naidu, released several latest books including ‘Ten Studies of Kashmir, History and Politics authored by Padma Shri, Dr Kashi Nath Pamdita.
The book encompasses in- depth study and analysis of ten critical areas of contemporary Kashmir history beginning with the tribal raid of 1947. The hard handbook with beautiful get up fills 337 pages and is distributed by the Academic Foundation, New Delhi.
The event was held at India International Centre (IIC) where the book was released amid lot of applause and critical analysis. The prestigious work was published by Indian Council of Social Relations (ICSSR) and its forward written by the Member-Secretary of the Council, Professor VK Malhotra.
Some of the interesting chapters in the book include Mediaeval Kashmir Historiography, The Genesis of Kashmir Problem, The Origin of a Fake State of PoK, The Ethnic Cleansing of Kashmir etc.
