| Mother’s Day was celebrated at Boniyar | |
Srinagar,May -14 (Scoop News)- Mother’s Day was celebrated on 13 May 2019 at AGS, Boniyar. This day was celebrated to highlight the role played by the mothers in upbringing of the children, society and nation and also to make the students conscious about the immense sacrifices which a mother has to make. About 500 mothers attended the programme. The celebration commenced with a speech by the Principal. The teachers and students also gave talks highlighting the event and the importance of the day. This was followed by a small skit by the students. A lot of young talent occupied the stage with students reciting poems and rhymes. To conclude the proceedings songs were sung by the students. The event concluded with refreshments and by students thanking their mothers and presenting them with gifts.
