Jammu, June 10, (Scoop News)-Hailing the court verdict in kasana rape and murder of a minor girl, Congress leader, Ravinder Sharma, said that the law of land has prevailed and those found guilty have been punished.
Reacting to judgment of Special Court at Pathankot today, JKPCC has said that speedy trial and judgment in the heinous crime convicting 6 out of 7 accused has strengthened the faith of people in the criminal justice system, especially judiciary.
Sharma said that the most heinous crime against minor girl had shaken the cience of every human being and all those who stood for justice to the victim.
However those who exploited the situation arising out of this heinous crime for their vested interests need to explain their respective conducts, as certain political forces and individuals played dirty role in the entire shameful incident and the situation took very ugly turn damaging the secular fabric of our society.
