| Big jolt to Congress in Jammu East Constituency | |
Jammu,July 22 (Scoop News)-A big jolt has been dealt to Congress in the Old City area of Jammu, when large number of Muslim youths from Jammu East Assembly Constituency area joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of party State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and other senior leaders of the party at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Irfan Mahmood, Adil Ahmmed, Shabir Bhat, Sarah Choudhary, Shaid Shafi and others along with dozens of their supporters left Congress party alleging failure of Century old party on all fronts to join the ranks of BJP. They said that they are inspired by the work culture put forth by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They also credited party General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi for his concentrated efforts towards their joining into the BJP.
New entrants said that the government headed by PM Modi has done wonders in the upliftment of minority communities. Members of Muslim Samaj and other communities were fed with misleading talks by Congressmen and other political parties to mere use them as the vote banks, whereas such parties were never serious for true upliftment of the community members’ status. They said that now as they have been entrusted by the BJP senior leadership as the party workers, they pledge their moral allegiance to the party and assure the party leadership that they will work tirelessly for the extension of party activities in every region.
Yudhvir Sethi, while welcoming the all the youth leaders into the party fold, said that today BJP has become first choice of every community and especially youth. He praised their decision and expressed confidence that their youthful energy with the party back up will do wonders in ensuring the upliftment of the community. He said that Congress and other political parties have sucked blood of the talented youth while promoting enmity and viciousness in between the communities to remain in power corridors. He added that fed up with the dangerous and dirty politics of Congress, these youth have come to the right place and we welcome them with the open arms. He also threw light upon various schemes initiated by PM Modi led government for the welfare of the minorities like education, employment and empowerment.
Dr. Narinder Singh also welcomed them into the party fold and said that party will offer full support to them in every positive work done with good spirit for the upliftment of the community and the society as a whole.
