Jammu,August 17 (Scoop News)-Sr. PDP Leader Satpal Chark said that leaders like Mehbooba and the Abdullahs are no terrorists and “cannot be isolated”
JKPDP Jammu Unit slammed the Modi government for arresting the political leaders and former chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti’s . they Said flayed the arrests saying the same party had opposed the detention of political leaders during the 1975 Emergency.
Terming Mehbooba Mufti’s arrests "totally wrong", Chark said the act smacked of double standards on the part of the BJP-led government at the Centre.
Varinder Singh Sonu demands Immediate Release of Party President Mahbooba Mufti and also sought review of the decision of the Union government and grant of statehood to Jammu Kashmir. BJP Govt for subverting the democratic rights of opposition and denying the constitutional guarantees assured to them under the constitution.
