| Budgam police distributes sports items among youth of Hyderpora | |
Srinagar, February 13 (Scoop News)-: Budgam Police under aegis of CAP (Civic Action Programme) distributed sports items among youth of Hyderpora.
In order to inculcate & promote sports spirit among the youth and build healthy Police-Public relations besides taking forward youth friendly policing initiative, Budgam police today distributed sports items among youth at Hyderpora.
On the occasion, senior citizens and sports lovers of the area were present.
While distributing the sports items, DySP DAR Budgam, advised the youth to excel in sports activities besides pursuing studies.
He expressed that sports enhance mental and physical capability of youth besides inculcates discipline and team-spirit. Adding that, the sports activities also prevent the youth from indulging in social crimes. Further, he said that, sports is the best way to channelize energy of youth in positive direction and sports activities play a significant role in development of nation.
Locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of Budgam Police. They expressed their desire that such programmes should be organized in future as well so that talent of the youth is encouraged.
