| Police arrests 17 persons for violation of prohibitry orders u/s 144 CrPC in Awantipora and Ganderba | |
Srinagar, March 26 (Scoop News)-Continuing action against violators of prohibitory orders issued by Government u/s 144 CrPC, Police have arrested 17 persons for defying the restriction orders over COVID-19.
Awantipora Police have arrested 14 persons for defying prohibitry orders issued u/s 144 CrPC and registered a case FIR No. 38/2020 under relevant section of law at Police Station Awantipora.
While as Ganderbal Police have arrested 03 persons involved in violating the prohibitry orders issued u/s 144 CrPC by the Government. Case FIR No. 59/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal.
Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by District Magistrates in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly.
