NC condemns Kabul Gurdwara terror attack; terms it ghastly, barbaric | | Jammu, March 26 (Scoop News)- National Conference today condemned the terror attack in a Gurdwara in Kabul, killing many worshipers, and described it ghastly, barbaric and inhuman.
In a statement issued from Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here, senior National Conference leaders expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for peace to departed souls.
The statement described terrorism as a grave challenge to civilised world and called for a united fight against the scourge. The world has to be freed from the monster of terror, which has raised its ugly head in various manifestations and for this the people, irrespective of religion, region, nationality and ethnicity will have to get together and foil all the machinations of elements inimical to peace.
The National Conference leaders expressed solidarity with the Sikh Sangat in general and the families of those who lost their dear ones in the carnage in particular at this hour of grief, saying no words can compensate the loss to humanity.
"There are no words to condemn this dastardly act, which ironically comes at a time when the entire humanity across the globe is grappling with Corona virus", the statement said and also expressed grief over deaths due to the dreaded pandemic.
The National Conference leaders also urged the people to stay home for staying safe from the epidemic, hoping they will take all the necessary preventive measures and advisories being issued by the government, especially during the ongoing nation-wide lockdown.
