DC Samba provides relief in restrictions
Samba,May 21 (Scoop News)- Deputy Commissioner Samba Rohit Khajuria provided relief in restrictions in the District and also extended some exemptions in order to facilitate the people for different services.
Deputy Commissioner has ordered that all medical facilities including medicines, testing labs, clinics shall remain opened daily from 8 am to 6 pm where as Milk Shops, Vegetable and Fruit Shops, Bakery shops, Poultry etc are allowed to open daily from 8 am to 11 am only.
It has been further ordered that that Grocery shops will be kept open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 11 am; Stationery shops, Mobile shops, Fans/Coolers (Electrical) Shops/Repair of all Electrical appliances shops shall be opened on Wednesday and Sunday from 8 am to 12 noon, clothing Shops (Exclusive) to be opened on Wednesday only from 12 noon to 3 pm, Readymade Garments and Shoes shops to be opened on Sunday only from 12 noon to 3 pm, Manyari/Cosmetics shops shall be opened on Sunday only from 4 pm to 6 pm, Composite shop dealing in cloth, readymade and shoes (any two of three) to be opened on Saturday only from 8 am to 12 noon, Hardware, Sanitary and Cement shops on Wednesday and Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon and Utensils and plastic shops on Saturday only from 3 pm to 6 pm. Further no shop is allowed to display its items/goods outside its perimeter.
In addition to above, All E-commerce and Courier Service shall function daily from 8 am to 4 pm, all Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry related shops will open daily on 8 am to 11 am, Banks and Financial Services will work daily as per official timing, Barber Shop in rural areas will operate only with two customers at a time inside the shop on Wednesday and Sunday from 7 am to 11 am and movement of Plumbers, Technicians and Electricians will be allowed daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
In order to ensure safety of all, these shops owners will strictly follow the schedule and time with only 50 percent of the staff in the shop at a given time. The shopkeepers and helpers will wear masks and maintain social distancing all the time and also provide sanitizers/soap to staff as well as customers. The order has also made it mandatory for all the shopkeepers to download Aarogya Setu Mobile App and anybody violating the above mentioned norms will be dealt firmly. Further this order has been made on trial basis, and violation, if any, is found it will be withdrawn forthwith.
