Condition of lone COVID patient stable: officals
245 evacuees reach Leh



Leh, May 22 (Scoop News)-The condition of the lone active case of COVID-19 of Ladakh in Leh is stable. This is revealed in the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh regarding the daily report on Public Health measures taken for COVID-19 infection prevention and control today.

Yesterday, the Health Department Leh received 92 sample reports of Leh district and all are negative. Today, a total of 214 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing out of this 126 samples are of Leh and 88 samples are of Kargil district.

The media bulletin further reports that 7 inmates from quarantine facility at Kargil have been discharged after completing 14 days quarantine and were advised for further home surveillance. Swab collecting team collected 15 samples from Sankoo and 20 samples from Drass.

Yesterday 245 passengers were screened at Khaltsi check post and reached Leh in 13 buses and one tempo traveller.

And three oil tankers and one mini truck reached Upshi check post yesterday where the drivers were screened and the vehicles were sanitised.
