Afridi’s remarks on Kashmir and Indian PM highly condemnable: Munish

Jammu, May 22 (Scoop News)- Jammu Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party, senior leader, Munish Sharma, has termed the controversial statement of the former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi against the Indian Prime Minister and Kashmir, as display of his sick mindset, which needs to be condemned in strongest words.
Munish Sharma, while referring to what Shaid Afridi said while distributing relief material in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir few days ago, said that spitting venom on India in one way or the other has become tradition in Pakistan to gain cheap popularity. He said that no one has right to speak against our country and that people like Afridi should remain in limits and worry about their own country, which has come out be globally accepted as terror exporting nation, with least concern for the minorities living there, who are subjected to inhuman treatment, discrimination and forced to conversions.
“Perhaps Shahid Afridi is day dreaming to be crowned with some important political post in Pakistan, as has been achieved by another cricketer Imran Khan”, Munish said and added that fueling hatred against India and emotionally provoking the Pakistani people on the name of Kashmir is the cheapest tool in the minds of communally loaded persons like Afridi, who in reality has no concern for the people.
Munish Sharma said that whatever utterances has been made by Afridi are also against the spirit of sportsmanship, which refers to a sportsman as an ambassador of peace and friendship, gifted with virtues such as fairness and treating others and being treated fairly, without getting involved in controversial and hate speeches or remarks. Afridi cannot even be treated as a sportsman due to his mindset of playing game for own popularity, least bothering for the harmful consequences, said Munish.
Munish advised Pakistani former cricketer to not test patience of India and better shed his dream of using people as stair to climb political berth in Pakistan by playing Kashmir card and insulting Indian Prime Minister, who has become most popular global leader commanding respect and applause even from the most developed nations of the world.
