AJKLTF demands pending Salary of Teachers


Padder, May 23 (Scoop News)- Urging the Lt.Governor administration to release pending salary of Grade ll & lll teachers, All Jammu kashmir Ladakh Teachers Federation aft. with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shakshik Mahadangh said that these teachers are without salary for the last many months in Padder zone of Kishtwar distt.who get regularised but salaries delayed for want of verification since long in their favor.
The demand was raised during the monthly meeting of AJKLTF held under the chairmanship of its Zonal President Sh Narbeer Singh Chauhan and senior leader Rangil Singh.
A large number of teachers from Padder Zone of District Kishtwar participated in the online meeting.
While speaking on the occasion, Narbeer Singh Chauhan said that Grade ll & III Teachers are without salary for the last eight months and their families are on the verge of starvation. Singh added that if we didn't get the salary in this situation of pendamic
then hundreds of teachers across the Padder will come on roads and launch agitation in favour of genuine demands of the teaching community.
Singh also demanded to convert all left out RReTs to Teacher Grade II and III and also release their pending arrears, convert all newly RReTs to Grade II and Grade III teachers and regularize the services of ReTs who have completed five years of service satisfactorily.
He also stressed upon state government to release pending salary of other Teachers & Masters without any delay.
Singh appealed the Governor Adminstation to concede these burning demands of teaching Community otherwise Federation will launch agitation near future.

Chauhan urges the Directorate of School Education Jammu to resolve long pending issues of some of the Teachers of zone Paddar whose files for regularisation as RRETs, Teachers grade ll and grade lll are still piled up in the office of the concerned for a long time. Such teachers are on the verge of starvation as they are not getting their monthly salary for many months.
He requests the Directorate of School Education Jammu to speed up the process for those Teachers whose files have been stuck up in the concerned office for one reason or another and also pave the way for issuance of formal orders for regularisation of such Teachers as Teacher grade ll and grade lll who have outstanding cases against them.
He said that Federation projected the issue at every lavel in Education Department but no action was taken by the concern Authority for releasing the pending salary.
The meeting unanimously decided that all effected teachers will hold protest if their pending salary is not released within short time.During the meeting speakers also raised the need of holdind DPC in all stream without any delay and teachers to Masters.
