Social Activist Jagar Nath Bhat passes away at Buchoo in Tral
Muslims help perform last rites

Jammu, May 23 (Scoop News)- Jagar Nath Bhat, a social activist of Bachoo village in Tral in South Kashmir,has passed on Saturday early morning.

The deceased had retired as auditor in Cooperative Department.He was 95.He is survived by his son Muna ji Bhat and three daughters who are all settled. His son Muna ji too lives with his family in his native village Bachoo.

Reports said that as soon as the news of the death of Jagar Nath Bhat spread, members of Muslim community came together to help in performing his last rites.

People from Tral Teshil visited the home of the deceased to express condolences with the family.

After militancy erupted in the Valley in the early 90s, the Pandit community was forced to migrate from Kashmir to Jammu and other parts of the country.

Meanwhile Various social and religious organisations have condoled the demise also.
