| DC Baramulla chairs MDDTFC meeting | |
Baramulla, June 29 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired ‘Multi Departmental District Task Force Cell’ meeting to discuss various measures for fixation and revision of sale price of Minor Minerals including sand, gravel, bajri and other related raw materials.
On the occasion, a detailed discussion on various matters was held during which it was informed that the price and sale of minerals shall be evaluated keeping in consideration various parameters viz bidding cost, mining cost, royalty DMF, loading and unloading costs, transportation cost and other miscellaneous costs.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC deliberated upon the concerned stakeholders to strictly abide by the rules and regulations besides stressing them to adhere to all the requisite parameters.
He directed the committee members to work in coordination and cohesion so that the process is streamlined, moreover, DC emphasized upon the concerned agencies to strengthen the mechanism of checking illegal extraction of sand and other minerals from river beds and other vital locations.
Among others the meeting was attended by Mineral Officer Geology and Mining department Srinagar, ADC, District Mineral Officer Baramulla, various successful bidders among other concerned stakeholders.
