Srinagar, June 29 (Scoop News)- Piping ceremony of recently promoted Sub-Inspector as Inspector was held at DPO Ganderbal.
The promoted officer was piped with his new rank by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS who expressed happiness over the promotion of officer.
SSP Ganderbal congratulated the promoted officer and advised him to remain committed towards his duties and ensure better public service.

Drug de-addiction programme held at DPL Kupwara
Srinagar, June 29 (Scoop News)- Continuing its drive to eradicate drug menace from society and to provide insight about the seriousness of drug addiction, Police in Kupwara organised a drug de-addiction programme at DPL Kupwara.
Starting the session, DySP DAR Shri Javaid Ahmad spoke about drug addiction and the treatment facilities available at Police Drug De-addiction Centres. He highlighted the drug addiction scenario of Kashmir, the causes and consequences of addiction. He also spoke about preventive measures and the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police in the prevention of drug menace.
People of the area lauded the efforts of police in organizing such programmes. They demanded for more such programmes in future.
