| Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reaches Leh | | 
Leh,July 17 (Scoop News)- Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Leh today morning.
Rajnath Singh, is on two day tour of the border region .He started a two-day visit to forward areas of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.
He will be reviewing the preparedness besides inspecting the developmental works being executed along the Line of Actual Control with China.
Army Chief General MM Naravane will accompany him during this visit. They will review the security situation in Eastern Ladakh.
Rajnath Singh is likely to visit Atal Tunnel, previously known as Rohtang Tunnel, named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
This is a highway tunnel being built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway.
