| PCPG meetings facilitated by Handwara Police | |
Srinagar, July 31 (Scoop News)-In order to strengthen the Police Public relationship, Handwara Police organized PCPG meetings in all Police Posts and Police Stations in Handwara. The meetings were chaired by concerned SHO’s and IC PPs.
The meetings were attended by the respectable citizens of the adjacent areas.
The participants raised various issues during the meetings. The chairing officers assured them that issues pertaining to police will be redressed on priority basis while as other issues will be conveyed to the concerned departments.
The main aim of PCPG meetings was to seek cooperation from the general public in adherence of the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the authorities from time to time for the prevention of COVID-19 while dealing with their day to day activities. The participants were also appealed not go for Congregational prayer on Eid and were stressed to follow the SOPs issued by Govt. to restrain the Virus.
Further participants have been exhorted to remain away from social evils and co-operate with police in sharing all information related to social evils so that curative steps can be initiated.
Community members hailed the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.
