| Awareness Program To Develop Immunity Against COVID-19 | |
Jammu, August 01 (Scoop News)-Under able the guidance of Shri N. Ram, General Manager(I/c) Salal Power Station and in collaboration with Directorate of Indian System of Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, an Awareness Program aiming at Developing Immunity against COVID-19 through Ayurveda was organized at Salal Power Station.
During the program, Dr. Gauri Karlupia and her team members from the Directorate of Indian System of Medicine, Reasi, briefed the personnel present in the conference hall about the home remedies to increase their immunity. They have also given Immuno-booster Ayurvedic medicines for security personnel, health workers and personnel working day and night in Salal Power Station during this tough time of CORONA pandemic.
During this entire process, along with maintaining social distance, all the guidelines related to prevention of corona virus were fully complied with.
The General Manager (in-charge), Sir, extended the gratitude to the medical team from the Directorate of Indian Medical Systems, Reasi and appreciated the work being done by them. The General Manager (in-charge) said that Ayurveda is the oldest system of medicine in the world, which has a wonderful mixture of both medicine and philosophy. In its more than 5000 years old history, it has contributed greatly to the physical, mental and spiritual development of the people. Ayurveda is the ancient and complete medicine of the ancient Indian system. He said that in this hour of crisis, we do not have to be troubled but to strengthen ourselves so that this worldwide epidemic can be prevented.
