| ADC inspects arrangements for I-Day function at Mini Stadium Parade | |
Jammu, August 07 (Scoop News)-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Tahir Firdous today visited Mini Stadium Parade and inspected the arrangements being made for the Independence Day celebrations 2020.
He was accompanied by Joint Director Information, Jammu, Namrita Dogra, senior functionaries of Hospitality and Protocol, Education, Police, Security, R&B, PHE, PDD and other concerned departments.
During his visit, the ADC took stock of the face lifting of the main venue, seating arrangements, power supply, drinking water facility, installation of PAS, barricading of venue, sanitation measures and other necessary arrangements.
The ADC directed the concerned agency for adequate deployment to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the venue and the surrounding areas.
The ADC was also briefed about the identified parking spots for the national function. He asked the departments to coordinate with the district administration for the successful conduct of the national event.
