51 new cases, two death reported in UT Ladakh
21 patients cured and and discharged
Leh (Ladakh), September 11(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total 51 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 31 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 20 positive reports.
With the death of two more patient from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 38; 15 in Leh and 23 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 17 patients in Leh and 04 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has increased to 803; 452 in Leh district and 351 in Kargil district. It further reports that 76 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing by CMO Leh today, while 05 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing by CMO Kargil today.
The bulletin further details that 196 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today. Similarly, at Upshi check post 116 passengers including drivers and helpers of 100 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened. Also 15 passengers including 206 drivers and helpers of 179 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. Vehicles were also sanitized.
