87 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh | 79 patients cured and discharged | Leh (Ladakh), October 14(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released on (13.10.2020) by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 87 person tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 76 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 11 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 79 patients yesterday. Out of which 56 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 23 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has increased to 969; 747 in Leh district and 222 in Kargil district. Out of 76 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 17 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 02 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat, 03 positive sample reports were received from DIHAR Lab. Leh and 54 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot. While, out of 11 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 01 Positive sample report was detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 01 positive sample report was detected through True Nat and 09 positive sample reports were received from PGIMER Chandigarh. The bulletin further informed that, 276 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 160 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Monday. Similarly, 226 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 118 trucks, tankers and light motorvehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post. 280 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday.
