89 new positive cases one death report in UT Ladakh
49 patients cured and discharged

Leh (Ladakh), October 15(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released on (15.10.2020) by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 89 person tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive
reports, 85 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 04 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With the death of one more patient from COVID-19 in Leh district.The total Covid death of UT Ladakh has now reached to 65, out of which 27 deaths were from Leh district and 38 deaths were from Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that
UT Ladakh has discharged 49 patients yesterday. Out of which 34 patients were discharged by CMO
Leh and 15 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has increased to 1018; 821 in Leh district and 197 in Kargil district.
Out of 85 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 13 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 01 positive sample report was detected through True Nat and 71 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot.
While, out of 04 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 01 positive sample report was
detected through True Nat, 01 positive sample report was received from PGIMER Chandigarh and 02 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot.
Yesterday CMO Kargil sent 06 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing.
The bulletin further informed that, 192 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 114 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Wednesday.
Similarly, 305 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 266 trucks, tankers and light motorvehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post.
218 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday.
