| 86 new positive cases one death report in UT Ladakh | | 78 patients cured and discharged |
Leh (Ladakh), October 22(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released on (21.10.2020) by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 86 person tested positive for COVID-19.
Out of the total positive reports, 80 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 06 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With the death of one more patient from COVID-19 in Leh district. The total Covid death of UT Ladakh has now reached to 68, out of which 30 deaths were from Leh district and 38 deaths were from Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 78 patients. Out of which 68 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 10 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has increased to 848; 701 in Leh district and 147 in Kargil district.
Out of 80 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 04 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 02 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat, 15 Positive sample reports were received from DIHAR Lab. Leh and 59 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot.
While, out of 06 positive sample report received by CMO Kargil, 03 Positive sample reports weredetected through Rapid Antigen Test, 02 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat and 01 positive sample report were received from PGIMER Chandigarh.
The bulletin further informed that, 153 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 87 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Tuesday.
Similarly, 253 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 224 trucks, tankers and light motorvehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post.
