31 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh
37 patients cured and discharged


Leh(Ladakh), October 23 (Scoop News)- As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh on 22 October, 2020, a total of 31 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 29 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 02 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 37 patients. Out of which 26 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 11 by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 842; 704 in Leh district and 138 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 212 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. Likewise, 168 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 83 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Wednesday. And, 224 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 194 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post Wednesday.
