77 new positive cases, three deaths report in UT Ladakh
33 patients cured and discharged
Leh (Ladakh), November 13(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh on Thursday, a total of 77 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 73 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 04 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that 33 patients were discharged by UT Ladakh out of which 25 were discharged by CMO Leh and 08 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. The total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 971; 867 in Leh district and 104 in Kargil district. With the death of three more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 89 with 49 in Leh and 40 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 136 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 37 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 16 trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Wednesday. And, 194 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 83 trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post on Wednesday.
