Pak’s designs to disturb DDC polls won't succeed: Kavinder

Jammu, November 20 (Scoop News)- Former Deputy Chief Minister & BJP senior leader Kavinder Gupta, while addressing media persons at party headquarter on Friday, said that Pakistan will never succeed in its nefarious designs on Jammu Kashmir. He said that the recent attempt to disturb the DDC elections has been failed by the brave men of police and security forces when all the four terrorists were killed without any collateral damage.
Kavinder Gupta was accompanied by BJP Spokespersons G L Raina, Rajni Sethi and Balbir Ram Rattan while addressing the Press Conference.
Kavinder Gupta said that the alert security forces deserve all the appreciation for an act of bravery which has very clearly conveyed to Pakistan that any terrorist activity in Jammu Kashmir will be reverted forcefully. He said that the past record shows that Pakistan has been training and pushing terrorists with weaponry into Indian Territory for creating disturbances and cause casualties to security forces and civilians.
Gupta added that establishment of democracy at grassroots level was an important milestone in the history of J&K. The people were denied of this fundamental right for decades which were otherwise available to citizens in rest of the country. Kashmir’s dynastic politicians and political parties are equally responsible for denying people of the erstwhile state a true representative government. The success in initiating the process of DDC elections is seen by these anti-democratic forces as a serious blow to their relevance and therefore adopting instigating means to disrupt democratic exercise here.
'The people should not trust such parties which can go to any extent just for political gains and have least concern for Nation and National interests in Jammu Kashmir", Kavinder said and added that every common resident of J&K will now vote in unison against these selfish and opportunist political alliance.
