Jammu, November 21 (Scoop News)- Secretary BJP Jammu and Kashmir Rekha Mahajan said that Jammu Kashmir will witness similar development like other parts of the country is the desire of PM Narendra Modi. "Previous regimes in Jammu and Kashmir have always thought about their families and relatives and left the people to lurch at large .It is the Modi Government which took initiative to strengthen grass root democratic institutions in J&K said Rekha Mahajan in a Statement.
She added that even after 70 years of independence previous government's deprived people of real democracy. Conducting BDC elections earlier and now DDC elections which are now being held for the first time is a major step in the history of J&K. The funds which had been coming to Jammu and Kashmir for development have been looted by these dynasty leaders. Not even half of those funds would have been utilized for the development here. These parties always betrayed the people of J&k.

"Despite all this Farooq continues to shout we are not anti-national if National Conference and PDP are sincere in claiming their opposition to abrogation of Art370, the minimum they can do to retain the trust of their electorate is to seek resignation of their sitting MPs who were present in the House when the legislation was passed" ,She added .
She asserted that BJP wanted common people to participate in the political process. When there is peoples participation in the political process, there will be people's participation in development ,prosperity and progress.BJP always stands for betterment and welfare of common masses and believed in empowerment of people at grass root level.
